Riad Fawakay has it’s own private chef, Rachida, who specialises in traditional Moroccan cuisine, but can also rustle up anything from pizza to roast chicken if the fancy takes you.

Linger over a lazy breakfast on the roof terrace and sample freshly squeezed orange juice, French crepes, fresh fruit salad, Moroccan pancakes and eggs cooked just the way you like, along with freshly brewed coffee or Moroccan mint tea. Breakfast is included in the riad rate.

Or why not try one of Rachida’s specialties for lunch or dinner? Chicken with lemon & olives, lamb and almond tagine, traditional pastilla and colourful Moroccan salads are just some of the dishes on offer. As all ingredients are chosen for their freshness in the local market, and most Moroccan meals are cooked slowly in a tagine, and please let Rachida know what you would like for lunch or dinner the day before.

Dinner consists of three courses, with first and main courses served at the same time in traditional Moroccan fashion. Bread, freshly brewed coffee or mint tea are included in the price. Main course and dessert as well as bread, mint tea and coffee is served at lunch.

Lunch costs 200 dhs per person (75dh for children under 10 years old) and dinner is 250dhs per person (100dh for children under 10 years old.)

Riad Fawakay stocks a selection of red, white and rose wines, beers and soft drinks which you can choose from to accompany your meals. Please ask Marouane in advance if you require a bottle of Champagne for a special celebration and we can arrange it for you.

Please help yourself to drinks from the riad mini bar at any time. Drinks will be charged at the end of your stay.
